Member Privileges
- Use of all four Fitness Centers on campus including Helen Newman Hall, Teagle Hall, Appel Commons, Noyes Community Recreation Center (for access present Cornell ID card to fitness center monitor). - Access to all group exercise classes (for access present Cornell ID card to issue room attendant at HNH or Noyes or to fitness center monitor at Teagle). Group Exercise Class Schedule.
- Access to equipment (i.e. basketball, volleyball, etc.) for use in the Helen Newman Hall Gymnasium, Noyes Gymnasium, or Grumman Squash and Raquetball Courts (for access present privilege card to issue room attendant at HNH, Teagle [for squash and raquetball only], or Noyes), laundered athletic wear, soap (present privilege card to issue room attendant), and basket services from the athletic department.
- Lap Swimming at Helen Newman Hall Pool and Teagle Hall Pool during open lap swimming times (present privilege card to issue room attendant).
- Fitness Consultation with a personal trainer.
- Nutritional counseling with a registered dietitian.
- Orientation to strength training equipment in a fitness center.
- Orientation to cardio equipment in a fitness center.
- Physical Fitness Testing.
- Access to special class offerings, for example Swim classes (learning to swim, basic swim, intermediate and advanced swim).
- Classes for Healthy Aging.
- Ice Skating at Lynah Rink during open public skate hours (except Sundays). Confirm hours by calling 255-3793.
- Deeply discounted yearly pass to the Linseth Climbing Wall offered through Cornell Outdoor Education.
- Reis Tennis Center membership discount and tennis classes.
- Physical Education class discount - the non-student fee is waived. All other class fees apply (present privilege card at time of PE class registration).
